Common Injuries Through Car Accident

Car Accident

Car accidents can cause many different injuries, to virtually any part of your body, depending on the circumstances of the crash. Many car accidents are minor, with the car suffering much more scrapes and bumps than some of the passengers, but the risk of injuries is real for anyone on the road.

The most common injuries sustained in car accidents are to the neck and back. Whiplash is the very popular and occurs when the head is violently thrust forward and then backward during car collision. Symptoms of whiplash contain swelling, neck pain, tenderness behind the neck, muscle spasms inside the side or back of the neck, difficulty moving the mind and neck, headache, and shooting pain from your neck down the arms.
