How Does Kinesiology Tape Work?

Kinesio Taping is an original elastic adhesive Pain relief tape which is designed as a support to injuries, prevent Swelling and edema and Enhance athletic performance. Kinesio Tape is latex-free, hypoallergenic.T his tape was originally designed for the elite athletes, weekend warriors to geriatric and pediatric patients. This tape facilitates the body’s natural healing process while allowing support and stability to muscles and joints without restricting the body’s range of motion.

How does this tape work?


This colorful tape is made up of cotton fibers with polymer elastic strands. It reduces pressure on lymphatic drainage channels and remove fluids and other harmful materials that collect in an injured area. It improves blood flow and enhances the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the injured tissues accelerates the healing process. This tape is also used as a post-surgical recovery and other inflammatory conditions, including lymphedema (severe swelling of the extremities.), Kinesio tape stabilize the muscles and help the muscles to recover fast. The blood vessels in the area are also compressed, which reduces the delivery of oxygen and nutrients for healing.
