Quit Smoking Programs

What is Quit Smoking Laser Therapy?

Quit Smoking Laser Therapy is similar to acupressure, except the treatment is done with a small laser point instead of needles making it completely noninvasive and pain free. With the Quit Smoking Laser Therapy, a laser light pulse is placed at different acupoints of the hands, face, nose, feet, and ears.

About Quit Smoking Laser Therapy

In order to understand how the treatment works, you first need to learn about acupuncture and endorphins.

Acupoints: Acupoints are connected points across the body. When stimulated, it balances energy that runs through the body. There are several hundred acupuncture points all over the body

Endorphins: Natural chemicals in your body that allow your system to decrease stress and increase energy.

The Quit Smoking Laser Therapy treatment uses Low Intensity Laser Therapy to stimulate the acupoint points of the organs that are affected by the nicotine.

Cigarettes, within the first 6 seconds makes your body release endorphins which make you feel relaxed. The problem is that the body becomes very used to this relaxed sensation and in order to sustain this feeling, the body urges you to take in more of these toxins by smoking.

With Quit Smoking Laser Therapy we stimulate the proper acupoint points (on the skin) that release a huge amount of endorphins in a healthy way mimicking similar endorphin rush caused by nicotine, and without harmful effects.

What Happens during the treatment?

The Laser Therapist will place the laser over the skin on 40+ acu-points (on the hands, head, nose, and ears) for a minute at a time.

During the treatment you will hear a CD with some information on the therapy, and how to detox after your treatment. After your treatment your therapist will go over it again. Laser Therapy is painless, and during the laser treatment some clients feels the sensation of euphoria. Others say they feel a warm, pulsating and a tingling feeling. A typical session takes approximately 60 minutes depending on each person’s individual situation, if you would like the weight loss points added with the Stop Smoking Laser Therapy Treatment the total time would be extended accordingly.

After the treatment

RPM Laser Therapy wants you to succeed! We consider both the body and the mind when quitting smoking

The body: By stimulating an endorphin release, the laser stimulates the body’s natural ability to physically detach its self from the nicotine cravings, getting the ex-smoker through the nicotine withdrawal more quickly. The body goes through a detoxifying stage, this occurs during the first 4 weeks after the treatment. In some cases people feel like smoking again, if that happens RPM Laser Therapy offers UNLIMITED FREE 24/7 follow-ups for the first 8 weeks after your treatment, to help you with the cravings. These free treatments are only available to clients who do not smoke following the treatment. Most of the time these are remaining psychological cravings

The mind: We will counsel and educate you on techniques, tips and hints on how to beat the psychological issues. We will discuss the differences between physical and psychological cravings, how to break the habit, we will prepare you for the detox, and discuss supplements to help you succeed as a non-smoker. All clients will receive a smoker’s handbook, and a relaxation CD and lastly 8 weeks of FREE UNLIMITED 24/7 follow-up support (booster sessions).
