Holistic is used to describe the healthcare practice that includes massage therapy, acupuncture, Reiki, naturopathy, and homeopathy. The holistic psychotherapy is used to bring harmony to the physical, energetic, and/or nutritional status of individuals. The primary goal of this therapy to focus on the emotional pain that manifests in depression, anxiety, trauma, and related disorders. It is used to encourage the patient to talk, feel, act and sense in ways that make his or her experiences manageable, safe, and empowering. In this therapy, a person with a mental illness talks to a licensed and trained mental health care professional who helps him or her identify and work through the factors that may be triggering the illness.
